Fire Risk Assessments
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (RRFSO) requires the responsible person of any non-domestic presmises to carry out a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment to identify, reduce and manage the risk of fire.
The duties imposed by the RRFSO are applied to every person who has, to any extent, control over the above premises. Where a person has, by virtue of any contract or tenancy, an obligation to maintain or repair, or for the safety of the premises, then he is a person who has control of the premises to the extent that his obligation so extends. |
